Diverse Agile Solutions is seeking a Naval Surface Systems Interoperability Test and Evaluation Event Director. The position is in support of the Joint interoperability (IOP) certification task order to provide Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) with critical IOP test and evaluation (T&E) services in accordance with DODI 8330.01 and JITC guidance and procedures. Performs IOP T&E Event Director actions required to support IOP T&E planning, execution, and reporting of the task order NAVSEA maritime systems. Leads the underway IOP Test team.


Duties

  • Responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution for testing events that specifically address program IOP T&E requirements
  • Review applicable system under test (SUT) requirements documents (e.g., Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), Information Support Plans (ISPs), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.) to ensure user requirements and criteria are correctly documented and included early in the T&E planning process
  • Develop comprehensive T&E strategies that result in sufficient data collection against requirements
  • Develop and maintain data collection and data management processes
  • Incorporate Design of Experiments (DOE) and Scientific Based Test Design (SBTD) into T&E approaches
  • Perform risk-based T&E to evaluate SUT capabilities for effective information exchange and interoperability
  • Collect all interoperability related technical data found during T&E events

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree and at least 8 years of experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience
  • One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Master’s degree
  • Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization
  • Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write and present complex issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner
  • Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, plans, and recommendations related to proposed solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users
  • Proficiency using MS Office 365 suite
  • Experience with NAVSEA and/or NAVAIR operational testing is desired
